Do I need CSA® before CSM®?
No. If you have 7 years of security experience with management responsibility, you can prepare for CSM® directly. Holding CSA® reduces the requirement to 6 years.
How do I know which certification is right for me?
Match your current role and experience to the levels above. If you're between two, the demo session includes an eligibility check and a clear recommendation.
Is the training online?
Yes — 100% online and self-paced, with three months' access and mentor support.
How long does preparation take?
Typically 2–4 months for CSS® and CSI®, 3–4 months for CSM®, and 3–5 months for CSD®, depending on your schedule.
What is the project work for CSM®?
CSM® candidates complete a written submission for each exam domain, applying management principles to their own organisation. The Certification Board assesses these before you are cleared for the exam. The training program supports you through each submission.
Does completing the training mean I'm certified?
No. Training prepares you for the exam. Certification is awarded by CorpSecurity International based on verified eligibility and exam performance.
